Data released on January 15 by the Xinhua Oil Price System shows that the average price change rate for a basket of crude oils was 1.50% on January 14.
According to the "Oil Price Management Measures," domestic prices for gasoline and diesel are adjusted every 10 working days based on changes in international crude oil prices, with new prices taking effect at 24:00 on the day the adjustment is announced.
If the calculated price adjustment is less than 50 yuan per ton, no change will be made; the amount will instead be carried over to be added or offset against the next cycle's adjustment.
Under special circumstances defined by the measures, price adjustments can be suspended, delayed, or implemented with a smaller幅度.
January 15 marks the seventh working day of the current pricing cycle, with the next price adjustment window scheduled to open at 24:00 on January 20.
