On October 26, Citic Securities Company Limited (600030) announced that its third-quarter operating revenue was 16.898 billion yuan, down 26.59% year-on-year (adjusted); net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 7.679 billion yuan, down 20.19% year-on-year (adjusted).

The report shows that revenue for the first three quarters reached 66.59 billion yuan, up 18.60% year-on-year (adjusted); net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 31.022 billion yuan, up 32.66% year-on-year (adjusted).

The year-on-year increase in profit for the first three quarters was mainly due to higher revenues from brokerage business, investment banking business, and asset management business, as well as the reversal of credit impairment losses.
