Fosun Pharma's Subsidiary Receives Approval for FXR0906 Injection Clinical Trial

An announcement from Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co.,Ltd. (600196.SH) reveals that its controlling subsidiary, Fosun Pharma Industrial Development (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., has received approval from the National Medical Products Administration.

The approval is for the initiation of a clinical trial for the FXR0906 injection, intended for the treatment of hypertriglyceridemia.

Following the necessary preparations, the subsidiary plans to commence a Phase I clinical study for this drug within mainland China.

The FXR0906 injection is an siRNA therapeutic, developed through RNA interference technology to target the liver and silence the APOC3 gene.

This mechanism is designed to lower serum triglyceride levels, offering a potential treatment for hypertriglyceridemia.

The company and its subsidiaries hold exclusive rights for the research, development, registration, production, and commercialization of this product in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
