Shares of SIHUAN PHARM (00460) surged more than 12% during the morning session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 8.33%, trading at HK$0.91 with a turnover of HK$51.61 million.
The significant move follows recent news regarding a key clinical study for the product 'Dongyan'. The research, led by the company's Meiyan Space unit in collaboration with several public hospitals and leading aesthetic medical institutions across the country, has achieved important academic results. The related research paper has been formally published in the internationally authoritative SCI journal in the dermatology field, the 'Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology'.
This achievement not only provides high-quality clinical evidence for Dongyan, which is noted as China's first compliant facial kinetic energy product containing L-carnosine, but also signifies that its efficacy in improving skin quality has received high recognition from the international academic community.
Analysts have previously highlighted the company's outlook. It was noted that looking ahead to 2026, the core growth driver is expected to be the flagship product, Letibao, whose sales volume is anticipated to increase further. Concurrently, new regenerative and skin booster products such as Sculptra, Ellansé, and kinetic energy products, launched in the second half of 2025, will enter their first full sales year. These new products are expected to achieve rapid sales growth through bundled sales strategies.
On this foundation, with the continuous improvement of the company's product portfolio and the scaling effect of its distribution channels, there is potential to drive sustained profitability growth in the medical aesthetics segment.
