Digital Asset Exchange BitMEX to Cease Operations in September

Cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX has announced it will officially halt operations on September 23. The company states that user assets remain secure and remain under users' direct control.

According to a statement posted by BitMEX on platform X, its parent company, HDR Global Trading, made the decision to shut down the exchange after completing a strategic review of its business operations.

BitMEX is urging all users to close their positions and withdraw their funds as soon as possible before the official closure date.
