TUI AG shares are in focus as the German travel group tightened its full-year earnings guidance to a range of 1.2 billion to 1.3 billion euros, citing resilient demand for vacation packages and a pickup in airline bookings. The company now projects underlying earnings before interest and taxes of 1.2 billion to 1.3 billion euros ($1.38 billion to $1.49 billion) at constant currency for the fiscal year ending September 30, narrowing its previous forecast of 1.1 billion to 1.4 billion euros.
TUI said its outlook update reflects strong demand for its fourth-quarter holiday portfolio, alongside improving booking momentum in its aviation segment. However, the company confirmed that its revenue guidance remains suspended, a decision originally triggered by uncertainty stemming from the Middle East conflict. While the firm had withdrawn its full-year revenue projection earlier, it had maintained its underlying profit forecast at that time.
The travel operator also noted that its hotel and resorts business is expected to start the 2027 fiscal year on a solid footing. In contrast, the aviation division continues to exhibit a high proportion of last-minute bookings, influenced by ongoing geopolitical and economic uncertainties.
