According to an announcement dated February 15, 2026, Lufax Holding Ltd. (6623) reported that its current Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Cho, will not renew his contract when it expires on March 31, 2026. He will leave both roles on that date, having cited family and personal reasons. He plans to work closely with the company to ensure a smooth transition before his departure.
It was also disclosed that Mr. Xie and Ms. Fu resigned as Non-Executive Directors effective February 17, 2026. The company noted that there are no outstanding disagreements with either departing director. Concurrently, Lufax Holding Ltd. appointed two new Non-Executive Directors effective February 18, 2026: Ms. Cai, aged 52, who has held executive and senior roles within Ping An Group, and Mr. Li, aged 52, who has extensive experience in finance roles at Ping An Group. Neither will receive emoluments for these positions.
Additionally, the board named Mr. Ji, aged 43, as the new Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from April 1, 2026. Mr. Ji has nearly two decades of experience in retail credit, risk management, and investment management, including service at McKinsey & Consulting Company Inc. He has a master’s degree in business management from INSEAD and has served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Lufax Holding Ltd. since October 2025. Mr. Ji’s annual base salary in the CEO role is RMB3.30 million, with the possibility of a discretionary performance bonus. The board expressed gratitude to the departing directors for their service and welcomed the new appointees to their roles.
