Stock News01-07

CONANT OPTICAL (02276) surged more than 6% during the morning session. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 5.51%, trading at HKD 56.45, with a turnover of HKD 33.3702 million.

On the news front, smart glasses have emerged as a central highlight at the recently commenced Consumer Electronics Show 2026 (CES 2026).

It is reported that over 50 manufacturers of AI glasses are participating in CES 2026, with leading companies such as Thunderbird Innovation, Rokid, Yingmu, VITURE, and XREAL all in attendance. Furthermore, emerging brands including Shanjí, BleeqUp, Halliday, and Weiguang Technology are also beginning to make their mark.

Alibaba will showcase its first self-developed AI glasses, the Quark AI Glasses S1, at CES 2026.

Additionally, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance issued a notice regarding the implementation of a large-scale equipment renewal and consumer goods trade-in policy in 2026, which for the first time includes smart glasses as eligible for national subsidies.

Oriental Securities believes that the first-time inclusion of smart glasses in national subsidies sends a clear signal—that the combination of artificial intelligence and consumer applications will receive key policy support. This move is expected to lower the barrier to consumption, accelerate market education, and speed up the transition of smart glasses consumption from early adoption to mass-market普及.
