Boeing (BA) shares fell 1% in early trading Tuesday. The company has finalized its acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems (SPR), bringing the production of key structural components and spare parts for the 737 and 787 programs in-house. Meanwhile, in Belfast, Airbus (EPA: AIR) separately took over certain work packages for the A220, as Spirit's original operations were divided and reassigned.
