On October 21, value investor Duan Yongping posted on Xueqiu, writing, “I’m annoyed by people who give me advice,” and shared a passage about SpaceX.

The reposted text stated: “SpaceX superintelligence SpaceXSI, Sexy (性感),” and argued that constraints on deploying superintelligence are “more about power, cooling and infrastructure, rather than chips.” It further claimed that at SpaceX “we formed a team that achieved a near 90% share of mass to orbit — the share of Earth’s total mass reaching orbit — with China at about 6% and the rest of the world, including other parts of the United States, at about 4%.”

The passage added that the team’s results were “an order of magnitude higher than all competitors combined,” and that the “same team” is being applied to deploying ground compute. It described the situation as “a bit like the New York Yankees playing in a youth baseball league,” asserting this enables “power and cooling infrastructure” to be deployed “far faster than anyone else,” and “possibly at some point faster than everyone else combined.”

Another user commented that this was “part of Elon’s remarks at SpaceX’s latest results meeting,” and asked whether “such a god-tier team” merits a heavy position. The thread indicated the discussion was posted about 12 hours earlier, with 7 reposts and 58 discussions.
