Alcoa (NYSE: AA; ASX: AAI) announced today that its executives will present and participate in a Q&A session at the Wells Fargo 2026 Industrial and Materials Conference. The event is scheduled for June 10, 2026, in Chicago, with the company's presentation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
A pioneer in the global aluminum industry, Alcoa has been dedicated since its founding in 1888 to transforming aluminum from a luxury into an essential material for modern life, leveraging its lightweight, strong, and recyclable properties. The company operates across the entire value chain, from bauxite mining and alumina refining to aluminum production, employing approximately 14,000 people worldwide. Guided by its mission to "turn raw potential into real progress," Alcoa sets industry standards in safety, efficiency, sustainability, and community engagement.
According to its recently released Q1 2026 financial results, Alcoa reported revenue of $3.193 billion and net income of $425 million, or $1.60 per share, a significant increase from the previous quarter's $213 million. This strong performance was primarily driven by higher aluminum prices and a $158 million increase in the market value of its stake in Saudi Arabian Mining Company. Adjusted EBITDA reached $595 million, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of improvement.
Operationally, the aluminum segment served as the primary growth driver, with third-party sales for the quarter rising to $2.54 billion from $1.91 billion in the same period last year, fueled by robust demand in packaging, electrical, and transportation markets. In April 2026, the company safely completed the restart of its San Ciprián aluminum smelter in Spain, further enhancing its production capacity.
For the full year 2026, Alcoa anticipates aluminum production to range between 2.4 and 2.6 million metric tons, with shipments expected to be between 2.6 and 2.8 million metric tons. The company recently announced a $65 million investment in its Mosjøen plant in Norway to expand casting capacity and introduce post-consumer recycled aluminum capability for the first time.
The conference presentation will be webcast live, and the accompanying slide presentation will be available in the Investors section of the company's website by 7:00 a.m. on June 10. A replay and transcript will be accessible following the live event.
