At the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD's Dynasty Network Sales Division, announced that cumulative sales of the Han and Tang series have surpassed 1.93 million units. The Han L model primarily attracts buyers from the post-90s and post-00s generations, while the Tang L appeals more to post-80s and post-90s consumers.
BYD has partnered with multiple collaborators, including Midea, to create a "human-car-home" ecosystem for Han L and Tang L owners. The collaboration with Midea enables smart connectivity between vehicles and homes. Users can check their car's status via smart home displays, remotely activate air conditioning and seat heating, and control household appliances through voice commands in the car. Additionally, the "Home Mode" automatically triggers as the vehicle approaches, turning on lights and heating in advance for a seamless smart living experience.
