Singapore Exchange (SGX) on Dec, 01 2025 released its November 2025 monthly market statistics. The bourse operated 20 trading days during the month, down from 22 in October.

• Securities turnover value climbed to 35.55 billion Singapore dollars, a 5% increase from October’s 33.93 billion Singapore dollars, despite turnover volume easing to 29.26 billion shares from 35.15 billion shares. • Average daily securities turnover rose to 1.78 billion Singapore dollars from 1.54 billion Singapore dollars. • Overall turnover velocity improved to 45% from 39% in October. • Total market capitalisation ended the month at 1,034.74 billion Singapore dollars, up from 1,021.70 billion Singapore dollars a month earlier.

Derivatives activity softened. Total derivatives volume fell 12% month-on-month to 25.90 million contracts, with average daily volume at 1.31 million contracts versus 1.52 million in October. Month-end open interest stood at 6.52 million contracts, down 3% from October’s 6.75 million.

The Straits Times Index closed November at 4,523.96, gaining 2% month-on-month and 21% year-on-year. Sector indices posted mixed moves; the FTSE ST Telecommunications Index advanced 10% month-on-month, while the FTSE ST Oil & Gas Index declined 4%.

DBS Group Holdings Ltd (D05) remained the largest listed company with a market capitalisation of 153.80 billion Singapore dollars at month-end, followed by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp (O39) at 83.06 billion Singapore dollars and Singtel (Z74) at 78.04 billion Singapore dollars.
