SEYOND (02665) Debuts with 10% Gain in Early Trading After SPAC Merger with TechStar

SEYOND (02665) completed its backdoor listing via a merger with TechStar. The company issued 37.0816 million shares at HK$10 per share, raising net proceeds of HK$360.5 million. By the time of reporting, the stock rose 10% to HK$11, with a turnover of HK$1.9195 million.

SEYOND is a provider of image-grade LiDAR and solutions. As a leading player in the global LiDAR market, the company delivered approximately 230,000 automotive-grade LiDAR units in 2024, capturing a 12.8% global market share by revenue in the automotive LiDAR solutions segment.

In the first nine months of this year, SEYOND shipped around 181,100 automotive-grade LiDAR units, marking a 7.7% year-on-year increase. In the passenger vehicle sector, NIO has adopted SEYOND's LiDAR solutions across nine models, with the Falcon series—a long-range LiDAR—accumulating over 600,000 deliveries.

For commercial vehicles and logistics, SEYOND has established stable partnerships with DeepWay, Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Truck, Inceptio Technology, and Pony.ai, expanding its application scenarios. In robotics, the company has secured large-scale orders from industry leaders such as Jiushi Intelligence, Neutral Holdings, Cusa Technology, and UISEE, covering logistics, sanitation, and material handling sectors.
