Recently, the 2026 China Internet Civilization Conference commenced in Nanning, Guangxi. At the sub-forum on internet corporate social responsibility, the China Federation of Internet Societies officially released the "China Internet Integrity Development Report (2026)" and announced the list of selected cases for the 2025 Internet Integrity Initiative. Waterdrop Inc. (WDH.US) was successfully included in this selection based on its solid practices in the field of internet integrity construction and governance, fully demonstrating the company's exemplary and benchmark role in building a system for online trustworthiness.
This year marks the third consecutive year that the Federation has publicly solicited case studies on internet integrity work from across society. After multiple rounds, including expert review, the Report compiles 17 such case studies. These cover practical experiences and achievements in areas such as promoting integrity culture and concepts, fostering industry self-regulation and standards, guiding technology for good, conducting public welfare activities, and providing support and care for special groups.
Furthermore, the case collection initiative saw active participation from various sectors including local relevant departments, industry associations, media websites, and internet enterprises. This resulted in broader coverage, richer thematic content, and more prominent practical outcomes. Examples include the work effectiveness of specialized governance campaigns by various departments and regions, the practical applications of platform companies using technology for good to empower ecosystem governance, and the successful experiences of responsible netizens driving agricultural product revenue through honest business practices.
