NEWTREND GROUP has announced the execution of a sale and purchase agreement. The company, acting as the seller, entered into the agreement with Yunfan No. 3 Investment Limited Partnership Fund, the buyer, following the close of trading. Under the terms of the agreement, NEWTREND GROUP will sell notes with a principal amount of HK$65 million to the fund for a consideration of HK$63 million. The issuer of these notes is Kaufmann & Company Pan-Asia Limited, and they carry an expected annual interest rate ranging from 3% to 5%.
