Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory Reports January Deliveries of 69,129 Vehicles, Up 9% Year-on-Year

According to the latest statistics from the China Passenger Car Association, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory delivered 69,129 vehicles in January, representing a 9% increase compared to the same period last year.

Data from the company's fourth quarter and full-year 2025 financial reports indicate that Tesla currently has approximately 9 million vehicle owners globally. The Model Y has consistently ranked as the best-selling model in multiple markets, while deliveries in the Asia-Pacific region reached a new historical peak.

Furthermore, throughout the full year of 2025, the Shanghai Gigafactory delivered 851,000 electric vehicles, accounting for more than half of Tesla's total global deliveries. The Model Y firmly maintained its position as the world's best-selling pure electric vehicle and the top-selling SUV in the Chinese market.
