UNISOUND (09678) saw a sharp rise of over 15% before noon. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 14.41%, trading at HK$298.6 with a turnover of HK$134 million.
The surge follows reports that UNISOUND is set to officially launch its new-generation general-purpose foundation model, U2, in June. Internally, U2 is viewed as a key enabler for the company to join the top tier of domestic general-purpose large models. Its development focuses on capabilities including knowledge reasoning, instruction following, long-context understanding, long-term task execution, coding, and office automation in the direction of intelligent agents.
It is understood that U2 has demonstrated comprehensive performance comparable to global leading large models in key evaluation areas such as knowledge reasoning, long-text comprehension, complex instruction following, software engineering, and agent tool invocation. In instruction-following benchmarks like IFBench, U2 ranks among the top performers. In evaluations related to Claw, its agent and tool invocation capabilities show strong advantages. Additionally, in hardcore knowledge reasoning and long-context tasks such as GPQA, U2 has exhibited the ability to challenge industry-leading models.
