The Guangdong Provincial Emergency Management Department welcomed a new leader on July 31st.

During the 26th session of the 14th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee held on the morning of July 31st, a vote was taken to appointXu Xiaoxiong as the Director of the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Management Department.

Xu Xiaoxiong, male, of Han ethnicity, was born in March 1969. He holds a university degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, and is a member of the Communist Party of China. He currently serves as the Party Secretary and Director of the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Management Department.
