Xiaomi founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun announced yesterday the lineup for Xiaomi Auto at the 2026 Beijing Motor Show. The models to be displayed include the Xiaomi SU7, SU7 Ultra, and Xiaomi YU7, while the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo will make its domestic debut at the event.

Xiaomi Auto released an official Q&A session today addressing questions about the upcoming "Xiaomi Auto Beijing International Auto Show Special Press Conference." Key topics covered include the new information to be announced, the location of the Xiaomi Auto exhibit hall, and the on-site experiences available to visitors.

Highlights from the Q&A are as follows: What new details will be shared at the press conference? Which hall will host the Xiaomi Auto display? What interactive experiences will be offered at the exhibit? Are there any exclusive benefits for visitors to the Xiaomi Auto booth? What will happen to the crimson red SU7 Pro used in the recent Beijing-Shanghai highway endurance livestream?

Earlier this month, an entry-level version of the Xiaomi YU7 was submitted for regulatory approval. Its curb weight has been reduced from 2,315 kg for the standard model to 2,200 kg. Although specific battery details were not disclosed by authorities, industry sources suggest that the entry-level YU7 may feature the same 73 kWh LFP battery pack used in the new-generation Xiaomi SU7.

The dimensions of the entry-level YU7 remain unchanged. It continues to use a 235 kW rear-wheel drive single motor and adopts the same taillight design as the YU7 GT. New optional features include 19-inch low-drag wheels and 20-inch multi-spoke or petal-style rims.
