RUSAL (00486) Affiliate Companies Enter Contracts with En+ Counterparts

RUSAL (00486) has announced that member companies of the Group have entered into contracts with counterparts of En+, under which the En+ counterparts have agreed to supply thermal energy to the Group's member companies (New Thermal Energy Supply Contracts). The purpose of entering into the New Thermal Energy Supply Contracts is to procure the thermal energy required for the Group's production processes and its facilities. Regarding Contract No. 1 in the table above, Baikalenergo JSC is the sole supplier capable of providing thermal energy in the Irkutsk region. The thermal energy tariffs applicable under the New Thermal Energy Supply Contracts reflect the rates stipulated by the order of the Irkutsk Regional State Committee for Prices and Energy. The Company considers the transactions contemplated under the New Thermal Energy Supply Contracts to be favorable, as there are no alternative suppliers in the relevant region. Regarding Contracts No. 2 and 3 in the table above, Limited Liability Company "Khakass Utility Systems" holds a monopoly on the supply of thermal energy in the Sayanogorsk region. The tariff for thermal energy (hot water) used in Contract No. 2 of the New Thermal Energy Supply Contracts reflects the rate set by the State Committee for Prices and Energy of the Republic of Khakassia. The tariff for thermal energy (steam) used in Contract No. 3 of the New Thermal Energy Supply Contracts reflects the rate controlled by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Republic of Khakassia. As there are no available alternative suppliers in the relevant regions, the Company deems the transactions contemplated under the New Thermal Energy Supply Contracts to be in its interest.
