Domestic fuel stations are scheduled to implement a price adjustment at 24:00 on August 28 (next Friday evening). At present, only three working days have been completed in this round's 10-working-day statistical cycle for oil price calculations. Influenced by the continued upward movement of international oil prices today, the current crude oil change rate has reached 5.33%, with an expected increase of 290 yuan per ton in fuel prices. Based on this anticipated rise, petrol and diesel prices are projected to climb by 0.22 yuan to 0.26 yuan per liter.
However, it is important to note that there are still several statistical days remaining in the pricing cycle, leaving room for fluctuations. If international crude oil prices rebound sharply in the coming days, the current projected increase could narrow. The final outcome, including whether the adjustment is implemented and the exact magnitude of the hike, will be subject to the official announcement from the National Development and Reform Commission.
