Musk Shares Two Posts on China's Power Generation in Quick Succession

U.S. tech billionaire Elon Musk shared two posts on social platform X this Thursday regarding China's electricity production. In one of the posts, Peter Diamandis, founder of Zero Gravity and executive chairman of Singularity University, wrote: "China produces 40% more electricity than the United States and the European Union combined. In this global race where energy equals intelligence, we must begin to wake up."

Another post, published by the Tesla Silicon Valley Owners Club, stated: "China currently accounts for 33.2% of the world's total electricity generation, more than double that of the United States (approximately 14.2%). This represents one-third of global electricity production. The rest of the world accounts for 52.6% of total generation. The scale is staggering."

This is not the first time Musk has expressed admiration for China's progress in power generation. In a recent podcast interview, he predicted that by 2026, China's electricity output could be triple that of the United States, which would be sufficient to support high-energy-consumption data centers. Through the deployment of clean energy sources like solar and wind power, as well as the construction of ultra-high-voltage power grids, China has already laid a solid foundation for AI development, positioning itself as a global leader in the energy sector.

"China is doing incredibly well in solar energy. It's amazing," Musk remarked during the interview.

Earlier this week, in response to another post by the Tesla Silicon Valley Owners Club, Musk commented: "China is an amazing manufacturing powerhouse and clearly understands that solar power is the future. This is an indisputable fact!"
