Stocks in the printed circuit board (PCB) concept sector led gains in the Hong Kong market. As of the latest update, HANS CNC (03200) rose 8.21% to HK$178. DELTON (01989) gained 4% to HK$182, while VGT (02476) advanced 1.59% to HK$356.8. KB LAMINATES (01888) increased 1.18% to HK$46.14.

The rally followed comments from NVIDIA's (NVDA) CFO during the company's first-quarter earnings call, confirming that the next-generation Rubin architecture chip is on schedule to begin shipments in the second half of this year. The Rubin and Rubin Ultra architecture iterations are expected to replace copper cables with PCB mid-boards and orthogonal backplanes, creating new high-end incremental demand for the PCB industry.

Soochow Securities released a research note stating that with the upcoming mass production of Rubin and Ironwood 7 chips, demand for PCB equipment and materials is set to rise continuously. The brokerage indicated that starting from the second quarter of 2026, the PCB industry chain is expected to enter a high-demand peak season, with a particular focus on the performance of equipment suppliers within the PCB supply chain.
