Minsheng Bank Completes 30 Billion Yuan Tier 2 Capital Bond Issuance

China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. has announced the successful issuance of its "China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. 2026 Tier 2 Capital Bonds (Phase I)" in the national interbank bond market. The issuance received approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration and the People's Bank of China. The bonds have been registered and custodied at the Shanghai Clearing House.

The bond issuance was recorded on April 16, 2026, and completed on April 20, 2026. The total issuance size amounts to 30 billion yuan. These are 10-year fixed-rate bonds featuring a conditional issuer call option at the end of the fifth year. The coupon rate has been set at 2.13%.

Proceeds from the bond offering will be used to supplement the bank's Tier 2 capital and enhance its capital adequacy ratio, in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory approvals.
