PCB Sector Stocks Maintain Gains as Leading CCL Producer Announces Fourth Price Hike This Year, AI PCB Supply Chain Accelerates Procurement

Stock News05-29

PCB concept stocks continue their upward trend. At the time of writing, DELTON (01989) rose 9.41% to HK$202.4; VGT (02476) increased by 4.75% to HK$459; and KINGBOARD HLDG (00148) gained 1.68% to HK$66.65.

On May 27, KINGBOARD HLDG issued a notice to customers, announcing a 10% price increase for laminate materials and a 20% increase for prepreg materials, effective immediately for new orders. This marks the company's fourth price adjustment for related products this year, following hikes on March 10, April 3, and April 28, with the cumulative increase exceeding 40%.

Analysis suggests that entering the second quarter of 2026, the procurement pace within the AI PCB supply chain is accelerating. New production capacity is aligning with the sustained release of orders for next-generation AI server platforms from downstream clients, with performance expected to maintain a high sequential growth trend. In the medium to long term, to address challenges in AI data center scenarios—such as the need for faster signal transmission, higher integration, and improved thermal management—the PCB industry chain is innovating and upgrading from multiple dimensions, including new materials and technologies, which is anticipated to unlock significant long-term growth potential.
