A law firm has announced that an investor compensation case against Nanjing Panda Electronics Company Limited (600775) for false statements has been initiated.
On January 14, 2025, Nanjing Panda Electronics announced that it recently received a "Decision on Issuing Warning Letters to Nanjing Panda Electronics Company Limited, Xia Dechuan, Hu Huichun, and Hu Shoujun" from the Jiangsu Securities Regulatory Bureau.
According to the investigation, Nanjing Panda Electronics disclosed its "2023 Annual Performance Forecast" on January 30, 2024, predicting that the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company for 2023 would be approximately 16.19 million yuan to 24.29 million yuan, and the net profit attributable to shareholders excluding non-recurring gains and losses would be approximately -3.27 million yuan to 4.82 million yuan. However, when the company disclosed its "2023 Annual Report" on March 29, 2024, the actual net profit attributable to shareholders was -237.86 million yuan, and the net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses was -257.01 million yuan. The significant discrepancy between the performance forecast and actual results, along with the change from profit to loss, constituted inaccurate information disclosure.
Legal experts believe that based on these violations and according to securities law provisions, investors who purchased Nanjing Panda Electronics shares between January 31, 2024, and March 29, 2024, and subsequently sold or continue to hold the shares after March 29, 2024, are now eligible to file compensation claims.
The case is being handled by Shanghai Jiucheng Law Firm, which specializes in securities fraud compensation cases including false statements, insider trading, and market manipulation. The firm has successfully represented investors in nearly 200 stock compensation cases over more than a decade, achieving favorable judgments or settlements, while currently handling compensation cases for nearly 300 stocks within the statute of limitations.
