COSCO SHIP ENGY Proposes Elevation of President Wang Mingfeng to Executive Director and Strategy Committee Member

COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. (COSCO SHIP ENGY) announced on 26 June 2026 that the Board has nominated current President Mr. Wang Mingfeng, aged 57, for election as an executive director. The proposal will be tabled for shareholder approval at the forthcoming general meeting.

If endorsed, Mr. Wang will also join the Board’s Strategy Committee and serve until the end of the company’s eleventh Board session. According to the draft service contract, he will not receive director’s fees or bonus payments.

Corporate governance checks show that Mr. Wang: • Holds no shares in COSCO SHIP ENGY under Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Ordinance definitions. • Has no familial, managerial, or substantial shareholding ties with existing directors, senior management, or controlling shareholders. • Has not held directorships in other listed companies over the past three years and occupies no other positions within the Group.

Mr. Wang’s credentials include senior roles at COSCO Americas, COSCO SHIPPING (North America) and COSCO SHIPPING (Europe). He holds an MBA from the University of South Australia.

A circular detailing the proposed appointment and convening notice will be dispatched to shareholders in due course.
