Endeavour Silver Corp. (EXK) saw its stock price plummet by 5.11% during intraday trading on Monday. The significant drop came amid a major announcement regarding changes to the company's board and senior management team.
The decline follows the company's announcement of key leadership transitions, including the retirement of Chief Operating Officer Don Gray, effective April 30, 2026. Gray has been instrumental in transforming the Terronera project from exploration to a operational cornerstone and played a key role in shaping the Pitarrilla project. Concurrently, the company appointed Luis Castro, previously Senior Vice President of Exploration, as the new COO effective March 1, 2026.
Further adding to the management reshuffle, Endeavour Silver appointed George Paspalas, former President and CEO of MAG Silver Corp., to its Board of Directors and named Gord Bussieres as Vice President, Projects. These changes mark a significant shift in leadership as the company aims to advance its development pipeline and move closer to becoming a senior silver producer.
