The China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved the Investigational New Drug (IND) application for HBM7575, also known as SKB575.
This long-acting bispecific antibody targets thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) and an undisclosed target for the treatment of asthma.
The drug candidate is being co-developed by HBM HOLDINGS-B (ASX: 02142) in collaboration with Sichuan Kelun-Biotech Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Previously, the first patient in a Phase I clinical study of HBM7575/SKB575 for treating atopic dermatitis has already been successfully dosed.
