Deep News04-17

CITIC Bank announced on April 17 that it has obtained approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration to raise its registered capital. According to the official批复 document (Jin Fu [2026] No. 206), the bank's registered capital has been officially adjusted to 55,645,162,264 yuan. The bank stated that it will complete the relevant registration procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.

The capital increase follows the conversion of the bank's convertible bonds. CITIC Bank issued 4 billion yuan in A-share convertible bonds in March 2019, with a six-year term that matured on March 3, 2025. By the maturity date, a total of 6,710,365,691 shares had been converted from the bonds, increasing the total number of shares by the same amount compared to the pre-conversion period starting September 2019. This conversion led to an adjustment in the bank’s share capital, raising the registered capital from 48,934,796,573 yuan to 55,645,162,264 yuan.
