SSY GROUP has announced that it has become the first domestic company to receive a drug production registration certificate from China's National Medical Products Administration for Methocarbamol Tablets (0.5g).

This approval classifies the product under chemical drug category 3 and is considered to have passed consistency evaluation.

Methocarbamol tablets are a muscle relaxant primarily used for conditions such as joint and muscle sprains, lumbar muscle strain, and sciatica.

Additionally, the group's phloroglucinol has been approved by the NMPA for registration as an active pharmaceutical ingredient for use in marketed formulations.

Phloroglucinol is mainly indicated for acute spasmodic pain caused by digestive system and biliary tract dysfunction, acute spasmodic ureteral, bladder, and renal colic, as well as gynecological spasmodic pain.

As disclosed in the company's announcement dated August 27, 2024, the group had previously obtained the NMPA's drug production registration certificate for Phloroglucinol Injection.
