By establishing a targeted support system, strengthening leadership from key enterprises, and building smart platforms, the zone is vigorously promoting intelligent upgrades for businesses and digital transformation for industries, continuously injecting new momentum into high-quality development within the park.
Through precise policy support, the zone is addressing common challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises, such as reluctance, fear, or inability to undertake digital transformation. A tripartite support system integrating "policy, funding, and services" has been established. Focusing on key sectors like equipment manufacturing, the park provides end-to-end services, proactively identifies needs, connects resources, and implements subsidy policies to effectively lower the barriers and financial pressures of transformation for companies. A manager from an auto parts manufacturer in the zone stated, "Previously, we considered digital transformation but lacked service providers knowledgeable in both manufacturing and digital technology, and we were concerned about the financial burden. With the new policy offering a 50% subsidy based on actual investment, we expect to receive approximately 195,000 yuan in subsidies this time, which gives us much greater confidence to proceed." Currently, over 30 companies in the zone intend to pursue digital upgrades, with nine having officially signed contracts to begin transformation.
Leadership from major enterprises and chain-wide transformation are distinctive features of the digital upgrade in the Yulin Economic and Technological Development Zone. With companies like Xingzhiyun Technology acting as digital chain leaders, in collaboration with leading firms such as Yuchai, an industrial digital management platform has been jointly established to promote upgrades across the entire production and management process. After Guangxi Yuchai Mould Equipment Co., Ltd. built its intelligent factory for precision manufacturing of automotive components, mould design cycles were reduced from 22 days to 13 days, and production efficiency increased by 40.4%. Furthermore, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd.'s "End-to-End Digital-Driven Intelligent Factory for Engines" was recognized as a National Exemplary Intelligent Factory by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2025, and its "Engine Industry Data Intelligence Management and Analysis Platform" was successfully selected for the provincial digital transformation special project, setting a benchmark for industrial digital transformation within the zone.
Significant results are rapidly emerging, positioning the smart park for substantial growth. Notable achievements include 14 provincial-level specialized and sophisticated SMEs (including four national-level "Little Giant" enterprises), one National Exemplary Intelligent Factory, five Guangxi Intelligent Factory Demonstration Enterprises, two Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmark Enterprises, and two Digital Workshops. Additionally, the park has been successfully selected as a pilot for the "Provincial Smart Park" initiative, deploying digital applications across various scenarios such as smart living, property management, and security early warning systems, already assisting over 40 companies in accessing the "digital fast lane."
Moving forward, the Yulin Economic and Technological Development Zone will continue to leverage preferential policies for digital transformation, optimize and strengthen the digital ecosystem, and fully utilize the demonstrative effect of benchmark enterprises. This will encourage more companies to accelerate their intelligent upgrades and digital transformation, fully activating new potential for industrial development through digital intelligence and contributing significantly to Yulin's goal of building a strong industrial city.
