GUOXIA TECH Shares Surge on European Storage Deal and Innovative AI Energy Strategy

Stock News07-21 14:36

Shares of GUOXIA TECH (HKEX: 02655) experienced a significant intraday rally, climbing more than 8%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.74% to HK$16.94, with a turnover of HK$79.63 million.

The upward movement follows the company's strategic move to expand into the European energy storage market. In late June, the firm entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Rocmore Energy AB. This partnership aims to establish a long-term collaboration, integrating GUOXIA TECH's energy storage solutions with Rocmore's projects in Northern Europe. The joint effort is targeted at serving the Nordic region and the broader European market.

Concurrently, the company has successfully deployed its AI-powered aerial-ground collaborative active preventive operation and maintenance system at the 1.2GWh Gu Shan Liang energy storage station in Inner Mongolia. Field test data indicates the system achieves an automatic defect recognition accuracy rate exceeding 98% and a predictive warning accuracy rate above 95%.

Strategic Vision for AI and Energy

A notable industry challenge is the escalating energy consumption of AI computing centers, driven by the rapid advancement of global large-scale AI models. This high power demand has become a critical bottleneck for the sector's growth.

In response, GUOXIA TECH has introduced an innovative "Storage as Token" strategy. This approach seeks to directly convert the cost advantages of stored electricity into pricing benefits for large AI model operations. The company plans to leverage its proprietary "Cloud-Edge-Device" collaborative intelligent architecture and its core Safe ESS technology platform to develop AI-driven "Tokenized Storage Factories." This initiative is designed to provide a robust and efficient energy foundation for AI computing power.
