USA Rare Earth Inc. (USAR.US) saw its shares rise sharply, gaining over 9% to $15.289 at the time of writing. The rally follows news that its subsidiary, Less Common Metals (LCM), has entered into rare earth material supply agreements with Solvay and Arnold Magnetic Technologies, a unit of Compass Diversified (CODI.US). These deals mark a significant step toward further localizing rare earth supply chains in the U.S. and Europe.
Under the agreements, LCM will leverage its technical expertise in rare earth metal and alloy manufacturing to provide Arnold with high-quality, stable, and strategically vital rare earth materials for advanced permanent magnet production.
