Muyuan Foods Issues Profit Warning, Anticipates H1 Net Loss of 5.7 to 6.7 Billion Yuan

Stock News07-10

The company has announced a projected net loss ranging from 5.7 billion yuan to 6.7 billion yuan for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026.

This represents a significant shift from the same period last year, which saw a net profit of 10.79 billion yuan.

During the reporting period, the company intensified its focus on swine health and production management, enhancing its capabilities in detailed operational control.

This effort resulted in a year-on-year reduction in hog farming costs.

However, the company's operating performance turned to a loss primarily due to a substantial decline in the average selling price of its hogs compared to the previous year.

The average selling price for commercial hogs was approximately 10.4 yuan per kilogram, marking a decrease of about 28%.
