To promote AI empowerment, the delegation attended the 2026 Baidu AI Developer Conference and held discussions with relevant Baidu officials. They also visited Beijing Zhijing Unknown Technology Co., Ltd., seeking new pathways for the high-end, branded, functional, and intelligent transformation of the city's visual optics industry. During the discussions, Mayor Song noted that eyewear is a flagship industry and a highly recognizable landmark sector for the city, having been selected for the 2025 "China Famous Consumer Products" list. The visual optics industry is also included in Jiangsu Province's key cultivation list for distinctive and advantageous industries. In line with the overall deployment of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Government and the specific requirements of the Zhenjiang Municipal Party Committee and Government, the city is pooling its resources to promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence with the eyewear industry. Mayor Song expressed hope that Xiaodu AI could deepen cooperation with local enterprises in four key areas: showcasing smart terminal exhibition zones, creating application scenarios such as intelligent shopping guides in commercial complexes, assisting in the intelligent transformation and upgrade of the eyewear industry, and developing Token vertical models alongside the creation of an OPC community. This collaboration aims to further enhance the innovation capability, enrich the industrial ecosystem, and expand application scenarios of the city's visual optics industry, striving to establish the city as a globally influential innovation hub for visual optics.

During their stay in Beijing, the delegation visited China National Machinery Industry Corporation Ltd. and engaged in in-depth discussions with the head of the group's strategic development department. Mayor Song emphasized that intelligent agricultural machinery is a key distinctive and advantageous industry the city is focused on developing. He expressed hope for strengthened cooperation between both sides in enhancing the stability and self-reliance of the industrial and supply chains, accelerating the research and development of new products, and promoting the transformation of achievements. The goal is to achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefits, jointly driving the high-quality development of the intelligent agricultural machinery industry.
The delegation also specifically visited a leading domestic agricultural digital intelligence technology enterprise—Golden Daitan Technology Co., Ltd. The company independently operates China's largest agricultural production data platform, the "Shenji Intelligent Computing Platform," which has connected over 3.7 million agricultural AIoT terminals. Mayor Song expressed hope that both sides would accelerate the implementation and construction of the modern agricultural comprehensive service center project and increase support for empowering agricultural machinery technical services in the city.
During the investment promotion and inspection, Mayor Song emphasized the importance of closely monitoring the implementation and transformation of the outcomes from this visit.
