JD.com announced on August 7 that the new configuration of the ASUS ROG G39X desktop gaming PC, featuring the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K PLUS processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card, is now officially on sale with a suggested retail price of $2,499. The 2026 government subsidies for digital and home appliances are still ongoing, and IT Home has compiled the national subsidy coupon collection addresses for users to claim before making purchases.
In terms of core specifications, the system is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor, built on the Arrow Lake architecture with a 24-core, 24-thread design (8 performance cores + 16 efficiency cores). The performance cores can reach a boost clock of up to 5.5GHz, while the efficiency cores can boost to 4.7GHz. It integrates an NPU AI chip and is equipped with 76MB of L2+L3 cache. The machine is outfitted with the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card, based on the new NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, supporting full ray tracing and DLSS 4 technology for smooth operation of AAA titles. It features phase-change GPU thermal pads for optimized heat dissipation, and dual ball-bearing fans that offer twice the lifespan of sleeve-bearing fans. The system also supports GPU Tweak III tuning and dual BIOS switching, balancing cooling, performance, and noise levels.
For storage, the PC includes 32GB (dual 16GB) of DDR5 5600MHz memory across four slots, with a maximum expandable capacity of 128GB. Storage is provided by a 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, with a total of three M.2 slots available. The CPU-direct slot supports PCIe 5.0 SSDs, allowing for future upgrades to higher-specification drives. The power supply is an 850W Gold-rated unit, ensuring stable power delivery to the entire system.
Regarding the design, the chassis is a stylish, approximately 58-liter gaming case with a signature asymmetrical shape and clean geometric lines. It features the classic ROG stripe and ROG eye logo, along with 3D spatial RGB lighting effects that support AURA SYNC for customizable lighting that can be coordinated with other ROG peripherals. The case includes a front-side transparent window panel, tool-free disassembly for easy upgrades, and dust filters on the top and bottom to reduce dust ingress.
For cooling, the system uses a four-fan setup combined with a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooling solution. Each fan can deliver up to 65 CFM of airflow, and the ring-shaped dynamic bearing fans are designed to be more durable and quieter. It supports Fan Xpert for customizing fan curves.
In terms of connectivity, the rear I/O includes one DisplayPort 1.4 for integrated graphics output, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one 2.5Gb RJ-45 Ethernet port, and three audio jacks. The top I/O panel features two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, one microphone jack, and one headphone jack.
Other features include a pre-installed Windows 11 operating system and a genuine Office Home & Student edition (valued at $104). The system supports unified tuning via the Armoury Crate control center, offers one remote service session in the first year, and comes with a 3-year on-site warranty for the entire machine.
