Morning Market Update: Dual Performance in Chinese Futures as CSI 500 Sinks Over 3%

Domestic futures contracts saw a mixed performance at the close of morning trading on July 30, with gains and losses spread across the board.

On the upside, Ethylene Glycol and Crude Oil advanced more than 3%, while Low-Sulfur Fuel Oil, Bottle-grade Chips, Staple Fiber, Fuel Oil, PX (Paraxylene), and Aluminum rose over 1%.

In the declining segment, the CSI 500 Index dropped more than 3%, while the CSI 1000 Index, Containerized Freight Futures, Rapeseed Meal, Soda Ash, CSI 300 Index, and Iron Ore fell over 2%. Other notable decliners included Alumina, Glass, Lithium Carbonate, Ferrosilicon, PVC, Polysilicon, Rebar, Coking Coal, Eggs, Urea, and Soybean Meal, which all lost more than 1%.
