EDA GROUP HLDGS Reports Annual Loss of 12.156 Million Yuan

Stock News03-31

EDA GROUP HLDGS (02505) announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025. The group recorded revenue of 1.987 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 17.58%. However, the company reported a loss attributable to owners of the parent of 12.156 million yuan, a significant shift from a profit of 47.068 million yuan achieved in the same period last year. The loss per share was 0.03 yuan.

The primary reasons for the transition from profit to loss during the period were as follows: 1) Strategic Investment in Overseas Warehouses: Following the addition of leased overseas warehouses in the second half of 2024 and throughout 2025, these facilities require a ramp-up period before becoming profitable. This led to a substantial increase in related costs, primarily due to the commencement of amortization for the right-of-use assets and interest expenses recognized on lease liabilities. 2) Market Uncertainty and Competition: Adjustments to tariff policies during the period increased market uncertainty and intensified industry competition, resulting in a continuous decline in the average selling price per order. 3) Rising Operational Costs: Increases in overseas logistics expenses and labor costs during the period contributed to a significant overall rise in the group's costs. 4) Increased Provision for Expected Credit Losses: The provision for expected credit losses on accounts receivable increased, mainly due to an extension in the aging of receivables. The amount increased by approximately 7.717 million yuan compared to the same period in 2024.
