RoboSense has published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing performance from 1 January to 31 December 2025 across all primary subsidiaries and consolidated entities.
Governance and Compliance • Board-led ESG framework: a four-tier structure—Board, ESG Committee, ESG Leading Group and ESG Task Force—oversees strategy, implementation and disclosure. • Board composition: seven directors, 43 % independent; 100 % attendance in four meetings. • Zero corruption litigation, zero major information-security incidents and 100 % information-security training coverage during the reporting period. • Business ethics reinforced through an expanded Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and a whistle-blower mechanism; all 31 new production suppliers signed integrity and confidentiality undertakings.
Innovation and Intellectual Property • R&D investment reached RMB 650.00 million, equivalent to 33.3 % of total revenue. • 176 new patents were granted, lifting the cumulative total to 759. • Key product launches included the EMX high-performance digital LiDAR, EM4 ultra-long-range LiDAR and AC2 super-sensor system for robotic vision. • RoboSense took part in drafting seven national, two international and one industry standard, leading two of them.
Operational Highlights • LiDAR sales exceeded 912,000 units in 2025, maintaining the company’s global No. 1 ranking in the robotics sector. • All factories operated with full compliance on wastewater, exhaust-gas and noise emission standards; no environmental penalties or accidents were recorded. • The Shenshan production base, along with headquarters, passed ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949 audits.
Environmental Performance • Total energy consumption stood at 23.33 million kWh; water consumption was 68,469 m³. • Volatile-organic-compound emissions totalled 347.82 kg; hazardous waste generation was 12.20 tonnes. • Zero major environmental accidents and 100 % compliance for “three wastes” discharge were reported.
Social Metrics • Workforce totalled 1,800 employees, with 34.1 % in R&D roles; average training time reached 17.5 hours per employee. • No work-related fatalities or occupational disease cases occurred; annual occupational-health-and-safety targets were fully met. • Employee turnover rate was 22.55 %, while 100 % of staff received performance-linked remuneration and statutory benefits. • Community contribution included a RMB 0.50 million donation to a secondary school.
Supply-Chain and Responsible Sourcing • Supplier base expanded to 278, covering 213 production and 65 non-production partners; all new suppliers underwent ESG and integrity screening. • Conflict-minerals due-diligence policy aligned with Chinese and international guidelines has been embedded across contracts.
Outlook RoboSense plans to deepen its low-carbon transition through green-energy adoption and aims to enhance climate-risk assessment and disclosure while continuing high-level investment in AI, chip and hardware innovation.
