On October 27, Ni Zhen, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (CEEC), met with Xie Weijiang, Deputy Party Secretary of Hunan Provincial Committee and Secretary of Yueyang Municipal Party Committee, in Yueyang. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening practical cooperation in energy and power, "Electrification of Dongting Lake," water conservancy, ecological and environmental protection, and China-Africa trade. They also witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement between CEEC and the Yueyang Municipal Government, as well as an investment and development cooperation agreement for the Electrification of Dongting Lake project between CEEC's Hunan Institute, East China Construction Investment, and the Yueyang Transportation Bureau.
Ni Zhen expressed gratitude for the strong support from Yueyang's municipal government and introduced CEEC's overall development. He stated that CEEC is actively implementing the new energy security strategy of "Four Revolutions and One Cooperation," focusing on its core businesses in energy, power, and water conservancy, while fostering new productive forces with CEEC characteristics to drive high-quality development. CEEC is committed to advancing the "Electrification of Dongting Lake" cooperation and strengthening strategic ties with Yueyang during the formulation of the 15th Five-Year Plan, contributing more to Yueyang's high-quality growth.
Xie Weijiang thanked CEEC for supporting Yueyang's economic and social development. He emphasized that Yueyang is currently planning its 15th Five-Year Plan, focusing on port development, petrochemicals, urban clusters, and Dongting Lake. He hopes CEEC will expand investments in Yueyang and deepen cooperation in energy, power, water conservancy, ecological protection, and China-Africa trade for mutual benefit.
