The Dalian Local Financial Supervision Administration has stated that since entering the flood season, it has earnestly organized disaster prevention, loss reduction, and claims settlement services.

It has leveraged the role of the industry's specialized committee for disaster prevention and response, activated a mutual recognition mechanism for major disasters to achieve industry-wide coordination and linkage.

The administration established two dispatch centers for meteorology and traffic police, enabling precise meteorological warnings to be issued two hours in advance.

Traffic dispatch relies on real-time road imagery for command, and an industry-wide major disaster dispatch group has been formed to ensure a unified and rapid response.

Key prevention and control measures have been reinforced, with a responsibility system implemented for key waterlogged road sections.

In coordination with traffic management departments, joint police-insurance duty posts have been established, equipped with flood control facilities such as barricades and water level alarms, ensuring a timely and effective response to major disasters.

As of now, the cumulative number of reported claims across all insurance types within the Dalian industry has approached 2,000, with an estimated loss amount exceeding 13 million yuan.

Compensation and advance payment work is proceeding in an orderly manner.
