Two Shanxi Projects Selected as National Metaverse Model Cases for 2025

Recently, the General Offices of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the National Radio and Television Administration jointly issued a notice announcing the 2025 model cases for the metaverse. Following recommendations from various regions, expert review, and online public notice, a total of 193 cases nationwide have been selected, including two projects from Shanxi Province.

The "Digital Human for Explanation/Training" project developed by Shanxi Pengfei Group Co., Ltd. has been selected as a model digital human case. The virtual digital human "Qingniao" project, developed by Shanxi Zhisheng Media Technology Co., Ltd. to empower cultural and tourism applications, has been selected as a model product case.

Relevant industrial and information technology, education, culture and tourism, and radio and television authorities at all levels will increase support for the selected cases in areas such as technological innovation, application implementation, and government services, aiming to promote the large-scale application of outstanding outcomes.
