CRRC has issued a circular convening its first extraordinary general meeting of 2026 for 2:00 p.m. on 27 April 2026 at Conference Room 515, No. 16-5 Central West Fourth Ring Road, Haidian District, Beijing. Key agenda: shareholders will vote on adding one executive director to the fourth session of the Board. The sole nominee is Mr. Wang Feng, currently deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of CRRC, as well as deputy secretary, director and general manager of parent company CRRC Group. His directorship, if approved, will run until the end of the fourth Board’s term. Professional background: born in 1973, Mr. Wang Feng holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees and is a professorate senior engineer. Previous roles include senior management positions at CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles and CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles. He has served on CRRC’s Party Committee standing committee since February 2024 and became company president in March 2026. Remuneration: to be determined in accordance with State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission regulations; details will be disclosed in the annual report after finalisation. Poll voting: the resolution will be decided by poll, and results will be published on the websites of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and CRRC. Shareholder logistics: the H-share register will close from 22 April 2026 to 27 April 2026 (both days inclusive). Share transfers must be lodged by 4:30 p.m. on 21 April 2026 to qualify for attendance and voting. Proxy forms must reach Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services at least 24 hours before the meeting. The Board, including independent non-executive directors, recommends shareholders vote in favour of Mr. Wang Feng’s appointment.
