To comply with the Anti-Telecom and Online Fraud Law, JD.com announced the establishment of a full-process protection system leveraging its industry-leading anti-fraud risk control capabilities. A JD.com Retail Platform Ecosystem representative stated that the company has successfully built a multi-dimensional governance framework and will continue to advance AI technology applications in combating illegal activities.
When the system detects potential fraud risks for users, it immediately blocks suspicious transactions and sends real-time alerts. If necessary, JD.com collaborates with law enforcement to intervene. For reported fraud cases, the platform swiftly intercepts risky orders and temporarily freezes related assets, later returning funds as directed by authorities.
JD.com maintains a "zero-tolerance" policy toward fraudulent behavior, implementing measures such as fund freezing, delayed settlements, product removal, and account restrictions. Associated stores also face coordinated controls.
For example, in October, JD.com's risk control system identified a user at risk of fraud through its predictive model. Working with authorities, the company intercepted the transaction, preventing over 210,000 yuan in losses. Frontline employees, including delivery personnel, actively participate in fraud prevention. In May, a Shanghai courier intercepted 300,000 yuan in fraudulent transfers, demonstrating JD.com's company-wide anti-fraud approach.
For product quality control, JD.com requires merchants to meet national standards, with stricter requirements for certain categories. The company operates the industry's largest quality inspection system, including JD Supermarket's Quality Lab, 26 specialized labs, and third-party institutions. Products failing inspections are barred from warehouses, with serious violations leading to merchant removal.
Regarding pricing and advertising compliance, JD.com enforces strict legal adherence, with dedicated teams monitoring false claims. For intellectual property protection, the company implements a full-process management system to identify and address counterfeit goods.
JD.com continues to optimize post-sale services to protect consumer rights. The company plans to further develop AI technology for combating illegal activities, refine smart prevention models, and integrate resources to accurately target violations. These efforts aim to foster a healthy e-commerce ecosystem, enhance user experience, support partner growth, and create social value.
