Honor's Li Jian: AI Will Not Diminish Human Thinking, But Rather Unleash Creativity and Judgment

Deep News15:10

At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance, held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20, Honor CEO Li Jian shared his perspective during the "New Paradigm for the Physical World Forum." He emphasized that the fundamental nature of AI is to augment human capabilities, not to replace them.

Li Jian painted a vision of the ultimate scenario where AI enhances humanity: in the future, an individual could lead a matrix composed of a vast array of intelligent agent devices. This matrix would transform the collective intelligence from the edge, device, and cloud into boundless individual potential. Regardless of how rapidly human intentions change, this intelligent agent matrix can respond instantaneously and reorganize organically, becoming ubiquitous intelligent services.

He believes that in the intelligent era, the externalization of desire is essentially "human intent." Li Jian stressed that sovereignty over intent will always remain in human hands, and the direction of product evolution must be determined by genuine human needs. AI is absolutely not about making decisions for users; rather, it is about helping users lower the technical barriers of "what can be done," enabling humans to express and realize their intentions with greater freedom.

Li Jian pointed out that AI itself possesses no inherent good or evil; its manifestations depend entirely on the values and rules defined and imparted by humans. Honor's ultimate goal is to enable every individual to possess a cluster of intelligent partners that grow alongside them. The advent of AI will not strip humans of their ability to think; on the contrary, it will catalyze an unprecedented explosion of human creativity and judgment.
