MAN YUE TECH Shares Surge Over 43% in Late Trading, Up 900% Since Early May on AI-Driven Capacitor Upgrade Demand

Stock News06-04

Shares of MAN YUE TECH (00894) surged more than 43% in late trading, bringing its cumulative gain since the beginning of May to approximately 900%.

At the time of writing, the stock was up 39.59% to HK$7.51, with a turnover of HK$256 million.

The significant movement is attributed to market sentiment that AI-related demand is driving the high-end upgrade of traditional capacitors.

Analysts note that aluminum electrolytic capacitors are fundamental passive components widely used in electronic equipment, with screw-terminal types being core power supply devices for new energy and computing infrastructure.

MLPC, or multilayer chip-type solid aluminum electrolytic capacitors, represent a high-end evolution from traditional liquid aluminum electrolytic capacitors.

This product is perfectly suited to meet the high-density layout and high-frequency, high-current power supply requirements of AI equipment.

Public information shows that MAN YUE TECH has been deeply involved in the aluminum electrolytic and polymer capacitor fields for many years, with patents covering core technologies such as multilayer solid capacitors and conductive polymer raw material preparation.

The company's product portfolio includes aluminum electrolytic capacitors, conductive polymer aluminum solid capacitors, and other electronic components like electric double-layer capacitors and capacitors for high-efficiency lighting.

It owns the SAMXON and X-CON brands and is also engaged in the trading of raw materials.
