Bilibili-W's stock plummeted 5.00% during intraday trading on Wednesday, as the Interactive Media & Services sector faced widespread selling pressure following a strong rally in the previous session.
The decline came amid a broader market downturn, with Hong Kong's three major stock indices opening lower and the Hang Seng Tech Index declining more than 2% in early trading. Popular technology stocks across the board moved lower, with Tencent and NetEase falling more than 5%, while Xiaomi, Kuaishou-W, Alibaba, and Baidu also registered losses.
This sector-wide correction represents a pullback from Bilibili's recent gains, which had been fueled by its prominent showcase as the official AI technology video platform at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, positive sentiment from gaming license approvals, and anticipation of the summer peak season.
