Chow Tai Fook Jewellery (CTF) Q1 FY2027: Group RSV up 15.1%, Hong Kong & Macao Same-Store Sales Jump 41.7%

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group released unaudited operating data for the three months ended 30 June 2026 (Q1 FY2027), highlighting continued momentum in both the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong & Macao of China.

Group Performance • Retail Sales Value (RSV) rose 15.1 % year on year, supported by resilient demand for gold jewellery. • The Mainland contributed 83.60 % of RSV, while Hong Kong & Macao and other markets provided 16.40 %.

Same-Store Metrics • Mainland same-store sales (SSS) increased 19.6 %; franchised store SSS grew 15.7 %. • Hong Kong & Macao SSS surged 41.7 %, with Hong Kong up 35.0 % and Macao up 64.6 %. • Weight-based gold jewellery led growth: +38.0 % SSS in the Mainland and +63.7 % in Hong Kong & Macao. • Same-store volume fell 5.2 % in the Mainland but rose 9.4 % in Hong Kong & Macao, indicating higher average ticket sizes.

Product Mix & ASP • Weight-based gold jewellery share of Mainland RSV climbed to 67.20 % (1Q FY2026: 61.50 %). • Fixed-price jewellery contribution moderated to 29.00 % in the Mainland and 25.50 % in Hong Kong & Macao. • Mainland average selling price (ASP) for weight-based gold jewellery advanced to HK$10,600, while Hong Kong & Macao reached HK$17,100. • Design-led fixed-price gold jewellery RSV in the Mainland grew 4.3 % year on year.

Digital & Collections • E-commerce RSV in the Mainland expanded 28.9 %, accounting for 8.90 % of RSV and 19.40 % of volume. • The newly launched DAWN Collection generated HK$0.87 billion in RSV during the quarter. • The Chinese Couture High Jewellery collection debuted in June, reinforcing the Group’s luxury positioning and drawing strong social-media engagement.

Store Network Optimisation • Total points of sale (POS) fell to 5,434 after a net reduction of 255 locations; 69.40 % of Mainland CTF Jewellery stores remain franchised. • Mainland saw a net closure of 258 POS, reflecting the exit of lower-productivity sites. • Four additional luxury-format stores opened in top-tier Mainland malls, and a new international site launched at Oakridge Park in Vancouver.
